Gmail - insert images from Drive

Gmail now allows you to insert Google+ Photos easily

Gmail users who find themselves frequently sending  photos through Google Drive will now be happy to hear that it’s now a breeze. Once you’ve opened up the editor, you’ll see a new button to insert images (beside the Drive icon), which lets you select images you’ve uploaded on Google+.

Just like other images, you can also resize them from the editor on Gmail. The team recommends that you enable Auto Backup on your devices so ‘you can easily include photos from your latest adventures in emails to family and friends.’ This feature has started rolling out today.
